Georgia M. Webster 89, of Scott, passed away October 3, 2014 at home. Georgia was born February 13, 1925, in Cortland, the daughter of the Roy and Helen Tyler Bell Sr. Georgia had worked on the family farm with her late husband Clair, and enjoyed her family trips to Florida. She was a member of the Scott United Methodist Church, a member of the Church Women. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Georgia is survived by her daughters Donna (David) Cottrell of Scott, Gail (Nick Mastroni) Webster of Brunswick, GA., her sister Felicia Thomas of Little York, grandchildren: Alison (Randy) Dorr, Matthew (Kerry) Cottrell and Bernard Cottrell, 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Georgia was predeceased by her husband Clair Webster, brothers Roy L. Bell Jr.,Harold Bell and Russell Bell. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland with the Reverend Bruce Webster presiding. Interment will be in Scott Union Cemetery Friends are invited to call from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
