Our sincerest sympathy to you, George's family. We met George about a year ago at the Cortland Senior Center and are glad we had this time with him. George had a sense of humor that many at the center enjoyed and will miss. We played Wii Bowling and played pitch with George last year and have many fond memories of our time together. Since then we have met others from the center who spoke highly of George, even someone who remembered George as their boss at Smith Corona and what a fair and kind man he was. George will be missed and we are sure thought of often as we gather at the Senior Center.

Growing up so close to Aunts and Uncles was a big deal in our family. We were probably not always an easy family to belong to but Uncle George did. I often talk about Thanksgiving and how George would always disappear immediatley after eating way too much to watch football( and yes Joe too!!!) So many little things that I remember. That station wagon ugh...... They then continued on into the next generation and became buds with my kids. Jeffrey spent a lot of time and Uncle George would ask, is Jeffrey coming over?
You will be missed George

My sincere sympathy for your loss. Until my retirement in march I was the senior center manager where George spent a great deal of time. I loved him dearly and will miss him very much.
