Obituary of Ronald W. Fuller

Ronald W. Fuller Sr. 82, of Cortland passed away November 20, 2014 at home with his family by his side. Ron was born October 4, 1932 in Dryden, the son of the late Claude and Eleanor Heffron Fuller. Ron was proprietor of Fuller Trucking. Ron was an avid Syracuse Basketball fan, enjoyed his trips to the casinos, and was awarded the sportsmanship award 2 years in a row. But his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Ron is survived by his wife of 63 years Bobbie Boyce Fuller of Cortland, his children Ronald (Kimberly) Fuller Jr. of Cortland, Renee Marquis of Cortland, grandchildren Chantel (Erik Gillette) Marquis, Corey (Gabriel Slattery), Casey, and Cyler Marquis, Jennifer, Jessica Fuller, and great grandchild Coen Gillette. Ron is also survived by his brother Lawrence “Tuffy” Fuller of McGraw, sisters Lorenne ( Oren) Cornell of Groton, Suzanne (John) Jackson of McLean. In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by his brother Richard Fuller and sister Judith Jacobs Memorial services will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Friends are invited to call from 4:00 – 6:00 pm prior to the service. Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Ron’s name is asked to consider Country Music Park 1824 RT 13 Cortland, NY 13045.
