Judy was a wonderful lady. I could always count on her to help with any Elk Lodge Activity. At the Car Show she volunteered at the information table, right next to the band. She didn't complain but after the event, she said can you make sure next year the information tent is not near the band, I've lost some hearing. She always had a way to use humor to get her point across. The last event we worked together was the Halloween Parade. Judy was the door woman. She just loved being the first to see all the children dressed in costume. She said to me she made her children's costumes one year for the parade and the whole family won. She was so proud of her children and loved spending time with her family. She will truly be missed.

Dick, you and Judy have been two of the best friends anyone could hope for. Our 40 year friendship will be cherished forever. We also hope you and the kids find peace in knowing and remembering a great wife and mother. A person who always had a smile on her face and who always greeted us with a smile and a cheery word every time we met. The remembrances of the two of you "Twisting" to Chubby Checker on the dance floor at the Cortland Elks is a classic never to be forgotten.
Our thoughts are with you and your family. God rest Judy's soul and may she rest in eternal peace.

Judy & I have been friends since the mid 80's when John & I moved to the neighborhood. We were pitch partners in the lodge league, hung out in the back yard or swimming pool if it was hot, spent evenings around bonfires, partied during the Super Bowl each year. She was so supportive during John's illness, a wonderful listener and helper. Judy loved animals too. It was rare for her home to be without a dog, cat, squirrel. Her love for them was a constant. She was also so welcoming, made those of us not family, feel like family. My love and sincerest sympathy Dick, Mike, Marna, Jason, Justin, Jordyn, Paul. I'll miss her so very much. Love, Broomie
