Helen A. Clark, 87, formerly of River St., Cortland passed away December 4, 2014 at the Crown Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation. Helen was a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Cortland high School. She was a majorette with the VFW marching band winning the state championships. Helen was employed for many years at Smith Corona Corp. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting. She is survived by her son Kenneth (Judy) Clark, her grandchildren Stephen (Pam) Sherman, Shawn (Hollie) Jenney, Nathan Clark, Erica Clark, Madeline Clark, Tammy (Brian) Jenney, eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. Helen was predeceased by her husband Ira Clark and her daughter Donna Jenney. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Cortland Rural Cemetery where she will be buried next to her husband. To offer online condolences visit www.wright-beard.com
