I first met Dave in 1971 when I was an associate with Folmer & Fenstermacher and the firm was counsel to First National. At that time and in the ensuing years when he rose to be President of the bank there was no change in Dave's demeanor or personality. He was a gentleman in his dealings with everyone. My condolences to his wife, children and family. I am in Florida for the winter so was unable to attend calling hours.

Cathy,
I am in Florida for the winter and heard the news. I am so sorry for your loss. David will be missed by many people in many ways. He touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with. I am so glad I got to see you both the one day in the hospital when I was going up to see my husband, who lost his battle in 2013. Keep the memories close and David will always be with you, I know you have many great ones. I'm so sorry I can't be there for calling hours but I want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. In sympathy, Bev Staffor

Dave was the best Brother in Law a man could ask for. He was a great Husband, Father and Grandfather. Dave would always look at the glass half full and he was there when needed. He was a Godly man and as you read the organizations he was involved in only God knows how many lives he changed through his work. He never mentioned what he did with his spare time but it is obvious now. Dave will be missed by his family and those he touched. God has a brought one his awesome servants home. Amen

Aunt Kathy and family,
We will always remember the wonderful times spent in Tanglewood with Uncle Dave. Rides on the go-buggy and dinners on the porch will be remembered fondly. Dave was a wonderful, giving person who will be greatly missed. Please accept our condolences and our love. You are in our hearts and our prayers.
