Genevieve "Jenny" Horton, 86, of Cortland passed away February 28, 2015 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center Nursing Facility. Jenny was a lifelong resident of the area. She had been employed for many years at Crescent Corset until her retirement. Jenny was proud to achieve her high school diploma at the age of 72. In her spare time she enjoyed reading. She is survived by her daughter Linda Morgan of Cortland, her grandchildren Michelle Morgan, Oscar (Mindy) Morgan, Joshua Morgan, four great grandchildren, her sister Joyce Youngs of KY, several nieces and nephews. Jenny was pre deceased by her parents William and Rose Fenton Allen, and her husband William Horton. Calling hours will be Tuesday 2-4 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045. A memorial service will be held Tuesday 5 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Cortland. Spring burial will be at the Harford Mills Cemetery.
