I had the privilege seeing Frank at work in courts at every level in Cortland County over more than 20 years, representing defendants in criminal cases in the local criminal and County Courts, parties to cases in Family Court and as Law Guardian to juveniles. On a few occasions I also saw him on an adversarial basis where he represented a defendant against my department in a probation violation case. While he was always forceful and determined to prevail, I never saw him demean, belittle or badger anyone. He ALWAYS conducted himself with class and good humor, and was the quintessential "gentleman lawyer". It was an honor to know him.

Nan and family,
During my years of working in Family, Supreme & County Courts, I was privileged to know and work with Frank. He was a great law guardian and was called upon often in that capacity and he often served as assigned counsel to those less fortunate, as well. We shared some good laughs; in fact, sometimes he had me in tears!! He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. My sincere condolences to the family.

My sympathy to the Visco family. My mother Marie Olmsted worked in the court system, and I know how fond she was of Frank. She always told me what a smart man he was and admired him greatly. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Nancy, Frankie, Gino,
I am so sorry for your loss. Frank was, in my eyes, one of the greatest people I have ever known. He loved us like we were family. I will never forget our Thursday night dinners at Doc's. Those are memories that will stay with me forever and each time I think of them I will smile. I am so grateful I got to call him friend. RIP Frank
Love Monie.

Dear Nancy and family,
i was so sorry to read that Frank had passed away. I alway had a great deal of respect for his work as an attorney. The first time I met him was probably more than 28 years ago when Frank was the law guardian for several kids that I was involved with through an agency for which I worked. I was looking for help from their law guardian to keep them safe. He was so accessible and considerate and really championed those kids who needed a champion. From then on, I was always so happy to run into him around Cortland and it remained clear that he cared a great deal for his community and others. I always enjoyed seeing both Frank and you at the Community when you would have dinner together. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. He will be missed.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Avery

Frank was the most influential person in my life, next to Nancy. I loved him like a father and he was an amazing mentor. I loved working for him from 1991-2003. Geno, Frank, Nancy, my heart breaks for you. Truly sad today as I just learned. He was amazing.
