Jean Miller Biddle, 80, of Cortland, passed away May 20, 2015 with family by her side. She was born August 19, 1934 in Syracuse NY. Jean Miller Biddle was one of a kind. She was a classy, loyal, kind, strong, beautiful, smart, gracious, generous, funny, extravagant person with a remarkable sense of style. Jean was always at the center of whatever was happening. She had many adventures in her life; much joy, many friendships, and lots of love. She was proud to be a Member of the Mayflower Society. Jean will be missed by all who knew her. Jean Biddle is predeceased by her parents, Charlotte Wickwire Miller and Randolph VanIderstine Miller; and her husband, Richard Biddle. Jean is survived by her longtime companion, Charles Kinsolving and her sister Mary Van Miller; her son and his fiancée, Robert Warfield and Allison Smith; her daughter and son-in-law and two grandchildren, Jean, Philip, Nicolas, and Kathryn Rosmarin; her step-children, Lydia Cotter, Richard Biddle, Catherine Dunning, and Nina Biddle and their nine children; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews; and many, many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am on Friday at St Margaret's Church, Homer NY. Burial will follow at the Scott Union Cemetery. A Celebration of Her Life will follow the graveside services at 388 Spafford Landing Rd., approximately 1 pm, where family and friends may gather. The Wright-Beard Funeral Home is serving the family.
