Lucinda E. Wilk, 87, of Blodgett Mills, passed away September 28, 2012 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Wilk was a longtime resident of the area. She was a member of the Virgil United Methodist Church. Lucinda enjoyed hunting in her younger years, playing cards, but most off all being with family. She is survived by her daughter Judy (Robert) Pierce of Cortland, her sons Michael (Judith) Wilk and David (Missy) Wilk of Cortland, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her husband Stanley in 2007 and all her siblings. Calling hours will be Tuesday 10-11 with a funeral service to begin 11 am at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY, 13045. Burial will follow at the Virgil Cemetery. I am so glad we were able to visit her while I was in NYS visiting. I will always hold dear the memories of staying on the farm when I was a youngster . . . She was always such fun to be around.
