Obituary of Lester A. "Bert" Harman Jr.

Lester A “Bert”. Harman Jr, 57 of Cortland passed away July 6, 2015 in Cortland Regional Medical Center. Bert was born April 5, 1958 in Del Ray Beach, Florida, the son of the late Lester A. and Flossie Ryan Harman. Bert had been employed by D & L Landscaping and Contento’s. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed camping. Bert is survived by his children Lester A. (Heidi) Harman II , Amber Harman, and Jarred Harman all of Cortland, his brother Robert Harman of Cortland, sisters Sharan Clark of Cortland ,Dixie (Robert) Daniels of Florida, Patty (Robert) Killgore of Florida, his grandchildren Elizabeth, Nick, Ray, Trey, Trenton, Seth and Kaleb. Two special friends Laurie Shutt and Ernie Walker. A calling hour will be held from 2:00-3:00 pm on Friday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Friends are invited to a gathering at the American Legion on Tompkins St following calling hours.
