Anna Rae Bush, 67, of Cortland, passed away August 2, 2015 surrounded by her family after a short illness at University Hospital, Syracuse. She was born August 29, 1947 in Cortland the daughter of the late Raymond and Isabelle Potter Bush. She graduated from Cortland High School in 1965 and TC3 soon after. Anna was employed and retired from Ames/Royal Motor Co. after 50 years of employment. She was a longtime member of the Cortland American Legion Aux., serving in many capacities, the Cortland Fire Dept. Aux., and was also a member who enjoyed the Grace Christian Fellowship Church and it's members. Anna is survived by her brothers Kenneth (Nancy) Bush and Dana (Evanna) Bush, nieces and nephews that she loved and cherished; Christopher Bush, Rebecca Bush (Kevin) Merritt, Kenneth (Crystal) Bush, Jessica (Justin Howe) Bush, great nieces and nephews, Kaden Bush , Jackson and Lillian Bush, Kirsten, Brett, and Ashley Merritt, many friends including Rita Lynch. A calling hour will be held Monday 10-11 am with a memorial service to begin 11 am at Grace Christian Fellowship, 1250 Fisher Ave., Cortland NY, 13045. Burial will follow at the Cortland Rural Cemetery. The Wright-Beard Funeral Home is serving the family.
