Diane M. (Rowley) O’Hara 57, of Cortland passed away November 28, 2015 in Syracuse, NY, surrounded by her loving family. Diane was born March 10, 1958 in Cortland the daughter of Thomas and Florence Aiken Grossi. Diane had been employed as a waitress for several years, most recently she had been employed at SUNY Cortland before illness forced her to retire. Diane enjoyed working around the house, but most of all spending time with her family. Diane is survived by her mother Florence Grossi of Cortland, her loving husband James O’Hara of Cortland, her daughters Stacy (Steve) Hobart of Cortland, Lisa Fisher of Cortland, Chantel O’Hara-Lundy of Auburn, Brother Steven and Joseph Grossi of Cortland. Sisters Debbie Drake of Syracuse, Christine Grossi of Binghamton, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews Diane was predeceased by her father Thomas Grossi Sr., son Edward B Rowley Jr., Brother Thomas Grossi Jr. and brother in law Robert Drake. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland, interment will follow in Groton Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Thursday evening from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
