Sharleen Gleason, 45, of Cortland passed away suddenly October 5, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of Cortland graduating from Cortland High School. Her most recent employment was with Marietta where she had worked for over 19 yrs. Sharleen enjoyed shooting pool and was a member of the APA Pool League. She also enjoyed collecting native American figurines and memorabilia. She is survived by her son and his fiance Daniel (Kendra Peak) Gleason, her daughters Stephanie (Jason Hopkins) Gleason, Stacey (Zaymian Potts) Gleason, step daughters Rosemarie and Shania Gleason, her mother and step father Ida & Rocky Marks, her father Neil Hines, maternal grandmother Alice West, her sisters Sharmaine Rehberg, JayJ Hines, Kelley & Kim Hines, grandchildren Addyson, Kaylee, and Jaylynn, nieces, nephews, cousins, and ex husband Gary Gleason. A calling hour will be held Wednesday 10-11 am with a funeral service to begin 11 am at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045.
