To offer condolences online visit www.wright-beard.com to the family and friends of Raymond I share in your loss I remember when we were growing up and spending summer vacation with your family. They were happy times.I shall miss Raymond too and I am here for you.Mary Lee Fey (Brown) I had the honor of knowing Ray Homer as a compassionate, professional police officer and as a County Legislator whose honesty, integrity and decency were unsurpassed. As a committee and board chairman, he never failed to do the very best he could to support and sustain first-rate County services within fiscally conservative limits [he said "Show me the money" in several budget meetings at least 5 years before Cuba Gooding got the Oscar for saying it in a movie.] While he was successful as a campaigner and politician, his focus was ALWAYS on doing his best for his fellow county residents and it's fair to say that bi-partisan cooperation was never better than when he was Chairman of the County Legislature. In sum, Cortland County has lost a great citizen and wonderful leader. God bless his soul and comfort his family. Jim Cunningham We spent several years serving on the county legislature together. He was a special person and will be sadly missed by many. Ron Van Dee
