It is with a heavy heart that we must say goodbye to a wonderful, loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, and friend. To her children and family, I am so sorry for your sudden loss. No words can take away the pain that you are all feeling right now. Hopefully with time, you can celebrate the life and love she had for everyone she touched by her kindness. Some of you may not know Shirley and I had been neighbors for about 8 years but only recently struck up a wonderful friendship, mostly brought out by our connection with hers and her daughters cat "Louis". We shared "custody" of him. He would bounce from her house to mine, coming in to eat and get warm, and enjoy the loving we both gave him. I feel much sadness and grief knowing our Sunday morning coffee get together will no longer be a part of my life. We shared a lot of the same beliefs and enjoyed talking about various ideas for decorating our homes. It was remarkable how much we had in common when it came to buying things for our homes, and couldn't wait to share our latest "finds" with each other. Shirley recently gave me a beautiful hanging star lamp that I will cherish forever. I will keep it lit in honor of her, and to always remember what a bright star she was to me. I miss you my friend, and will cherish the short time that we had together. I will take care of Louis , and give him kisses from you everyday. Love Robin

Our deepest sympathies to Shirley's family and loved ones. We knew Shirley many years ago when she and her brothers stopped by our bait shop. Taking Shirley and Scott for doughnuts and hot chocolate after my work shift ended brings back so many wonderful memories of such a wonderful girl and young woman. Though we have not seen the family in a long time, there has always been a place in our heart for her. We wish her peace and may time heal the broken hearts. God Bless. Peter and Brenda Giamichael

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I remember Shirley well from her high school days and reconnected again with her when she worked at Citizen's Bank. She was always so friendly and nice. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

A beautiful person inside and out gone too soon. Your smile could light up a room and your laugh was infectious. And you had a singing voice of angel. My condolences to Shirley's family.

God bless you all in your time of grief. Shirley was one of the nicest women I knew. My sister & I lived two houses apart from Shirley growing up , Julie remembers the two of them playing for hours. Happy memories
