Obituary of Kristin R. Brown

Kristin Brown, 45, passed away February 14, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, with family by her side. She was born December 3, 1971 in Cortland NY. Kristin was a graduate of Homer High School in 1990. She had been employed at Rocky's OTB and most recently as a residential counselor at Frinziska Rackers Center, Cortland. In her spare time she enjoyed reading. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her children. She is survived by her husband David Brown, her sons John Henry and Samuel, her daughter Isabelle, her parents Joseph and Judy La Rue, step children Megan and David, her brother Stephen La Rue, her nephew Nicholas La Rue who is serving his country in Kuwait, and her niece Brittany La Rue. Calling hours will be Friday 4-7 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln ave., Cortland NY. Funeral services will be held Saturday 3 pm at Wright-Beard Funeral Home.
