Obituary of Lena C. Lago

Lena C. Lago, 91, of Cortland passed away February 19, 2017 at the Cortland Park Nursing Center. She was born June 26, 1925 in Cortland the daughter of the late Francisco and Giovanino Velanzo. While in Cortland she had been employed with Crescent Corset Co. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church. She had lived in Florida with her late husband for several years and was employed at various hair salons. She is survived by her daughter Annette (James) Hough, two grandchildren, her sisters Mary Catalano, Catherine (Lloyd) Fredenburg, Carmella (Harry) Overby, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Lena was predeceased by her husband Norbert Lago and her son Richard Lago.
