Obituary of Mark P. Brown

Mark P. Brown, 57, of Cortland and longtime resident of Otisco Valley, passed away February 27, 2017 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center with family by his side. He was born January 30, 1960 in Oneonta NY. While Mark was able to work in his younger years he was employed as a high rigger. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and demolition derbies. He was a twenty eight year advocate and member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He is survived by his children Erica Brown, Bethany Rose, Nathan Brown, and Caleb Brown, his mother Patricia Rich, step mother Sandra Brown, his siblings Martin (Chyrl) Brown, Francis Rich, Shawn Rich, Denise King, and Danielle Fish, three grandchildren Austin Malchak, Breanna Mitchell and Kaitlyn Mitchell, his uncle Mike, along with nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mark was predeceased by his father Gary Brown and his brother Scott Brown. A celebration of Mark’s Life will be held at a later time.
