Robert L. Lisenby, Sr. 89 of Cortland, NY; went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2017 at Cortland Park Nursing Home. He was born on October 13, 1927, the son of the Late Robert Lisenby and Sadie Smith.
He loved birds and Nascar. He loved his church and was a financial secretary and head usher at church he attended. Robert served in the Navy. He retired in 1989 after 22 year service at Brewer Titchner.
Robert is survived by his wife Elizabeth of 31 years, children; Robert Jr. (Winnie) of Brooktondale, Carol Lisenby, Rene (Todd) of Florida, Richard (Wilma) Quaile, Sheryl (Jim) Holbrook, Rhonda (Danny) Marko, Victor Quaile of Cortland, Liz Quaile of Hannibal, also 21 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren.
In addition, Robert is predeceased by his mother, Sadie Lisenby, his son; Tim and his first wife Agnes.
Calling hours will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 from 1:00pm-2:45pm at Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc. 9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY. Funeral Service at 3:00pm.
