I graduated with Marie in 1972 from Marathon Central School. She was the sweetest girl and never had a mean thing to say about anyone. Marie's obituary said she loved animals and with her gentle, caring personality, was not surprised to read that. She was quiet and would blush when attention was drawn her way. I am so sorry that Marie has passed so early in her life. Remember her beautiful smile and the beautiful person she was. I am proud to have known her.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Marie. I worked with her at Cortland Care Center and she was a caring, compassionate nurse and friend. She will be missed by all. My prayers go out to her family and know that Marie's smile and caring ways will continue on.

I worked with Marie in Groton years ago. She was loved by the residents and staff alike. She consistently showed such loving care to those residents. She had such a calming and gentle prescence. We became friends and went out together shopping or a drink. She was funny and a good listener. She also spoke often of her children and it was obvious how proud of them she was and how much love she had for them. I have not seen her in awhile and thought of her often. It is so hard to lose a parent. Take it one day at a time for as long as you need. Take care of yourselves. Tamara

Marie was a dear, sweet cousin of mine. She was one of the most genuine and kindest persons I have ever known. I remember going to visit her when I was a little boy and her letting me "hang out" with her friends. Who would do that? She would. That's the kind of person she was. She lived her life that way. Thank you, Marie, for your example to us all.
