Elsie May Wright, 91 of Cortland passed away on May 2, 2017 at the Groton Community Health Care Center. She was born on October 17, 1925, in Cortland, NY, the daughter of the late Judson and Lottie Duhlmeier Warren.
Elsie May Wright was a true woman of beauty, inwardly and outwardly. She was loving and caring to her children, Bruce Carleton and Susan Renee. She was a supporting wife to her husband of 53 years, Harry Joseph Wright. Elsie knew most people of Cortland, introducing everyone as her friend.
Elsie lived a full active life and she accredited her longevity to consistency: exercising (walking), always maintaining a healthy diet and weight at 135lbs, and having a positive temperament. Elsie was ready to walk with God. Go with god mom.
Upon the family's request, there will be no services. Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc. is assisting the family.
