Growing up and over the years he was always "Uncle Russ" and even though he wasn't a blood relation he and Aunt Sally were very much a member of our family. Always the first one to offer to pick you up from the airport insist on loaning you his car. and when it came to deciding where to stay it was always with ""Uncle Russ" and "Aunt Sally". He was the kindest, gentlest man, and was always willing to lend a hand.
I'll miss him most at Christmas when it's time to send the Shari's cookies ( Aunt Sally would always say she had to hide them or he would eat them all the first day !)
My thoughts and prayers are with his family, I pray the good memories will bring comfort in the days to come.
