I am deeply saddened by the news of Laurie's passing. May our God who blesses those who mourn be your guiding light as you go through a journey that one never asks for. Pain and sorrow will last but a season (God's season is not necessarily an earthly season) but I can attest that joy will come in His perfect timing. You are all in my prayers that you will experience God's love, comfort and mercies during this difficult time, and that you will feel the arms of our heavenly Father wrapped around you. Laurie was a brave woman who never let her physical disabilities stop her. I remember the laugh we had when finding out she drove to Virginia by herself...and ate while driving! What? Too funny. She was an inspiration to anyone who crossed her path. I'm proud to call her my cousin. She will be greatly missed.
