Obituary of Nicholas J. Nolan
Please share a memory of Nicholas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Nick Nolan 23 of Auburn New York formally of Homer and Baldwinsville New York passed away suddenly on Friday January 12, 2018.
Nick was a graduate of Baldwinsville High School. He played Varsity football, helping them achieve the New York State Section Three Championship. Nick was a proud Bville Bee and wore his colors loud and strong.
Nick loved the outdoors, no matter what the season. He was an avid hunter, often falling asleep in his tree stand, and getting lost in the woods. He loved to fish, learning a lot from his Father, Brother, and Grandfather. He would even fish in his Mothers pink kayak. He was full of life, and often considered the life of the party. He, and some of his friends (you know who you are) orchestrated many bonfire on State Land, much to the dismay of the local Law Enforcement. Go Nick!
He also loved racing his Bruteforce, almost every weekend, packing up his 1996 rusted out Ford pickup truck, pulling his 1970 pop-up camper and his brand new Bruteforce in the back of the truck (priorities).
He loved to ski, snow board, swim and garden. Growing radishes in his red radio flyer wagon when he was 6 years old. But what made him happiest was being on the farm milking cows, driving tractors, bailing hay and listening to his favorite country music.
Nick was a very devoted and dedicated family man, with a kind and gentle soul. If you were his friend, he considered you his family, he would give you the shirt off his back and his last dollar. His smile, laugh and great sense of humor will be missed by all.
Leaving to cherish his memory is the love of his life of 5 years Kennedy Patricia Cook and their fur baby Turbo. His father and step mother Randy Nolan and Rita Brenon. His mother Vicki Nolan and step father Neil Weaver, a brother Ryan Nolan, two sisters Tiffany (Seth) Wheaton and Sarah (John) Rivera. He also leaves behind several nieces, and nephews who he loved and adored without measure. Also, to cherish his memory are many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours are from 4-7pm on Thursday January 18, 2018 at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland, New York 13045 with a service to follow.
