Obituary of Joyce Tucker

Joyce E. Tucker, 80, of Endicott, N.Y., passed away on January 19, 2018 at Absolut Nursing in Endicott.

Joyce was born on April 5, 1937 in Liverpool, N.Y., the daughter of the late Frederick Barker and Rose Anne Zavidski Barker. She was pre-deceased by her sons James G. and Mark P. Horner, and Uncle Mike Bauchan.

Joyce spent a significant portion of her life in Cortland, N.Y., where she worked as a Teacher's Aid. She was a proud member of the American Legion, Post 80, Binghamton Women's Auxiliary.

Joyce is survived by her children, Thomas Horner, Marybeth(Horner) and Mike Kendrick, granddaughter Sarah Jean Farron and Aaron Bosie; Jean Marie (Horner) and Anthony DeWan; Brian and Linda Tucker; Samantha, Mike and baby Logan Vander Jat, Steven and Emily Tucker; a brother Rick and Melody Barker; a sister Cheryl and Joseph Knight; a nephew Corey Knight (Carey Donnelly); and great nephews Jameson and Jackson Knight.

Calling hours with be held on Thursday from 1 to 3 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Avenue, Cortland, N. Y. 13045. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3pm
