Obituary of William Dallaire

William Martin Dallaire, 59 of McGraw; formally of Cortland passed away on January 24th, 2018 in his home after an honorable fight with cancer. Born in Cortland, William was the son of the late Robert and Marion Lorraine Dallaire. William was survived by his long time spouse Cindy Horton, his only brother Gary Dallaire, Nieces; Issabella and Carissa, his children; Billie Dallaire, Robert (Cassie) Dallaire, Dillon Dallaire, Tara (Chris) Grim, Nate (Missie) Horton, grandchildren; Damon Carr, Ruby Dallaire, Julian Turtur, Kylie Turtur, along with many other family and friends. William struggled all his life with his eyesight. But, he persevered by becoming a local rock star in the 80s, a successful diagnostic mechanic in the 90s and tanning legacy, entrepreneur and survivor in the 2000s. William loved gardening, people, being a father, entertaining and most of all, he loved life. In the end, his family gave him comfort and he now has the peace he deserves. We would like to thank all of those involved with giving him the assurance needed to move on in his last weeks. There will be no service, however a releasing of the ashes will be held in the spring. Rest in peace dad.
