I am so sad to hear of Hugh's passing and extend sincere condolences to his family, especially Carol, Kevin, Erin and his Mom, Mary. I kept in touch with Hugh throughout the years since leaving Keegan Associates in 1989 and he always was willing to extend advice and counsel. He was a friend and mentor to me in business and so much more. In the fall of 1983, Hugh and his business partners hired me as one of the first employees at Origins, their initial agency name. During those years so many things happened in our family's lives. The birth our our first child. My grandfather's passing followed by my father the next year. I remember that Hugh was the first person I told after taking the call at work about my father's sudden death at age 55. He was always understanding and strong. In the business, he trusted me with handling our key accounts after he bought out his original partners. That trust was so valuable in helping me to gain confidence in business and in life. I would not be the same person today without Hugh and am forever grateful for having known him.

Carol, We are terribly saddened by the news that Hugh has passed. We didn't see much of you over the years, but when we did, we had such a great time. I'm glad that Pat and Jim will be with you during this difficult time, as well as all the family and friends that you and Hugh have had around you all your lives.
