Obituary of Margaret Brill

Margaret (Peggy) Brill, 79, of Cortland, New York, passed away on February 6, 2018 in Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Funeral service will be held at the Cortland Seventh-Day Adventist Church 106 North Main Street, Cortland NY in March. Date and Time to be announced later with Pastor Lenox Brown officiating. Peggy was born in Syracuse on July 10th 1938. She grew up in an orphanage on Newell Street in Syracuse, NY. During her 26 years there she helped in raising over 100 children and was very proud of it. She loved children and helped at Vacation Bible Schools at her church. She loved her friends and staff at Crown Park and would visit those that could use cheering up. When staff teased her, she was very proud that she could give it right back. Peggy is survived by her many friends at the Cortland Seventh-Day Adventist Church and at Crown Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She is preceded in death by her beloved guardians that raised her, George Grenier and his sister.
