Lynn David Schenck II, 47 passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2018 after a brief illness. Lynn David was s a graduate of Dryden Jr.-Sr. High School in Dryden, NY. He also graduated from The State University of New York, College at Cortland, where he studied Secondary Education, specializing in Spanish. He completed a brief winter session of study in Cuernavaca, Mexico. He was once employed at a local printing press in Central NY as well as at Marietta Corporation in Cortland, NY. Lynn is survived by his mother Yolanda Yglesias Schenck (Montgomery, AL). a son, Daniel David Schenck, a daughter, Heaven (Edgard) Martinez (US Army, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri). He is also survived by two sisters, Cassandra (Joseph) Britton and their three sons, Joseph Everett , John Wayne and Christopher Lawrence of Montgomery, AL and Catherine Schenck-Yglesias (Sevag Derghougassian), currently residing in Metn, Lebanon. . His father's sister, Thola Redfield, survives and is currently residing in Homer, NY. Lynn David was pre-deceased by his father, Lynn David Schenck (a US Air Force Veteran) in 2005 and his uncle, Lawrence "Charlie" Schenck in 1976. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A calling hour will be held Friday 2-3 pm with a celebration of Lynn's life to begin 3pm, at which time family and friends are invited to share a memory, at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln ave., Cortland NY, 13045.
