Lynn W. "Tink" Spiess, 75, of Cortland passed away peacefully on June 1 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. He was born Nov. 12, 1942 in Cortland, the son of the late Lynn and Pearl Spiess.
Tink was employed by Overhead Door Co. of Cortland for over 40 years. He served in the US Army from 1963-1967. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson Jayden. He enjoyed fishing with his sons and especially enjoyed being on a golf league and being part of the "Willowbrook Family." He also loved pick-up games of basketball at Suggett Park and chipping golf balls in his yard. Tink was a kind man, always willing to lend a helping hand.
