Carlton A. Blaize Sr., 62, of Cortland passed away June 4, 2018 after a brief struggle with cancer.

 

Carlton was raised and educated in Brooklyn NY. He served with the U.S. Air Force from the mid 1970’s until the early 1980’s. He was employed with the NYC Dept. of Transportation Dept. as a Parking Control Specialist.

 

He is survived by his wife Monique Davis Blaize, his children Carlton (Donyeishia Rush) Blaize Jr., Javonna Blaize, Ladaisha Davis, Amber Davis, Naiyma Davis, and Jordan Balize, his grandchildren Jasmine Thompson, Destiny Johnson, and Damaje Smith, his sisters Angelique Blaize and Sharone Blaize, his uncle Harvey (Patty) Edwards, and nephews Tynan and Cassidy Edwards.

 

Memorial services will be held in Brooklyn NY at a later time with military honors. The Wright-Beard Funeral Home is serving the family.
