Obituary of Lynda E. Natale

Lynda E. Natale, 68, of East River Rd., Cortland NY, passed away June 10, 2012 after battling cancer with family by her side. She was born March 27, 1944 in Cortland, daughter of the late Ron Kenneth and Louise Soule.
Mrs. Natale was an area resident all her life graduating from Cortland High School in1962. She then went on to CCBI in Syracuse graduating in 1963. Lynda was employed with Pall Trinity for over thirty years retiring in 2006. After retiring, Lynda took up quilting. She attended various local events and most recently received Best of Show/Viewers Choice and First Place in her class at Quilts across Cortland. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden with Barb. Lynda had held positions as Treasurer and President of the Cortland Figure Skating Club in the past. Lynda was very family oriented, truly enjoying all her family especially her grandchildren. She loved to watch her grandchildren in various sporting events and competitions.
She is survived by her husband of 45 yrs. Franklin Natale of Cortland, children Kristen (Robert) Beard of Cortland, Rocco (Melissa) Natale of Homer, Ann-Marie (Matt Partis) Natale of Homer, sisters Carol (Carlton) Maxson of Texas, Gayle (Tod) McAllister of Texas, three grandchildren Dominick and Allyson Natale, Mallory Beard, numerous nieces, and nephews.`
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Kenneth Soule.
Calling hours will be Friday evening 4-8 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc. 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10 am with Fr. Paul Alciati presiding at St. Margarets Church, Homer NY. Burial will follow at the St. Marys Cemetery .

To Frank and Family. I am so saddened to her of Lynda's passing. She was so devoted to her family and friends. She really enjoyed the quilt group and her flowers. Frank, We were deeply saddened to learn of Lynda's passing. I have known Lynda most of my life. Her mother provided child care for me at their home before I even started elementary school. Then we were in elementary school together and stayed friends right through high school. Laurie and I have many warm memories of you and Lynda. Our thoughts are truly with you and your family.
