Obituary of Anthony J. Natale

Anthony J. Natale , 83 ,of McGraw passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at home. Tony was born on October 7, 1934 in Cortland, the son of the late Anthony Natale, and Mary Murphy. A lifelong resident of the area, Tony made his career as an electrician, working for IBEW Local 43, out of Syracuse. He also served his country as a United States Navy Veteran. He was an avid outdoorsman. Tony loved to spend time hunting and fishing. He had a love for draft horses and was a member of the New York State Draft Horse Club. Above all he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to all. He had a deep love for his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, as they were the highlight of his life. Tony will always be remembered for his continual generosity and his warm heart. Tony is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sandy Natale; his children Kathi (Rick) Williams, Mike (Donna) Natale, Mary Natale, Patti (Rusty) Cooper, and Tony (Cathy) Natale; his siblings, Mary Ellen (Louie) Opera, Carol (Pete) Sheridan, Frank (Stella) Natale, and brother-in-law, Al Nitti. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tony is predeceased by his siblings, Les (Dunk) Natale, Patty (Al) Giamichael, Dorothy Nitti, and sister-in-law, Lynda Natale. Friends are invited to call at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. Tuesday from 4-7pm. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11am.
