Alice Mae Carter, 85, of Cortland passed away August 8, 2018 at the Cortland Park and Rehabilitation Center.
Alice was raised and educated locally. She had been employed with Smith Corona Corp., NCR, and Cortland Corset.
She is survived by her son Gaius Carter, daughter Deborah O'Mara, her grandchildren Gaius N. Carter, Zachariah M. Carter, and David Heller Jr.
Alice was predeceased by her parents Samuel and Verna Clemons, her husband Gaius J. Carter, and her son in law Daniel O'Mara.
A graveside service will be held Saturday 10 am at the McGrawville Rural Cemetery.
