Obituary of William S. Cook

William (Bill) Stuart Cook, Sr. of Cortland passed away October 15th, 2018 in his home at the age of 79. He will be greatly missed and is survived by his loving wife of 58 year, Patricia Whitney Cook, his son William S. Cook, Jr., daughters Machell (Rob) Phelps, Cyndie Eaton (Ace Prentice) and daughter-in-law Jennifer Noble-Cook. Grandchildren Robbie (Jenn) Phelps and Jenna Phelps; Erika Cook, Amanda Cook (Derek Shue) and Billy Cook; Tomas Terrazas (Sara Everts) and Isabella Terrazas; 4 great-grandchildren, brother in law Charles Whitney and his fury buddy Freddie. He was predeceased by grandson Damian Grant and parents Ruth S. and Earl O. Cook. Our family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Malakar, Dr. Rao, Dr. Simon, the Cortland Dialysis Center, CRMC and TLC ambulance service. Calling hours will be held at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland on Friday, October 19th from 4:00-6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation may be made in Bill's memory.
