Gregory A. Reynolds, 50, of Locke, NY, passed away on November 18, 2018, at Northwoods Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Moravia.
Gregory was born on June 3, 1968 in Cortland, NY the son of Gerald R. Reynolds and Charlotte M. (Walker) Reynolds. He worked 17 years at SUNY Cortland, working in the Auxiliary Services Corporation. An avid gas engine and antique tractor enthusiast, Gregory travelled all over New York State attending various gas engine expos and club meetings. He was a member of the Southern Tier Antique Gas and Steam Engine Club as well as the Old Time Tractors Club. Gregory was a builder and enjoyed building bird houses and wooden wagons. Christmas was very important to Gregory, and would annually play Santa Clause at various family gatherings and where ever needed. He enjoyed taking walks and hikes and was always on the lookout for Big Foot.
He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Charlotte Reynolds; sisters Jennifer Reynolds and Julie Reynolds; niece Mikayla Cook and nephew Hunter Cook; as well as several aunts and uncles, cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7pm at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. with a funeral service to take place Wednesday at 11am. Burial will be in the spring.
