I was searching for Mark on line and was devastated to realize that he passed. I volunteered under him at the senior center in Albany NY in the early 1980's. Mark was an amazing soul and I am happy to remember him as a friend. We shared a love of movies and had many happy times together. I am so happy that Mark found a soulmate in another Mark. My time as a student at SUNYA was enriched by knowing him. Fondly, Santina Sterbini (now Santina Carr)

Dear Mark M. and the entire Cerosaletti family, I am heart broken to hear the news of Mark’s passing. I met Mark many years ago while working with Cafe Teatro at the College of Saint Rose. I was a student at the time and he had returned to perform in one of Dr. Ortal’s plays. Immediately, I knew that Mark was a special person. He was so intelligent, enthusiastic, caring and kind. I will be forever grateful for his friendship and treasure the memories I have of him. May he Rest In Peace.

To say that Mark was a gift to so many is too simple. His loving, generous, and ebullient spirit was always present even in his fight with cancer these last years. His attention to detail is legendary and his excellence in music enhanced the liturgy for so many of us. Mark was a charming and wonderful fellow. Among other things, he was an active thespian; he appeared in a number of musical productions at SUNY Cortland over the years, including “She Loves Me” and “Carousel.” I will always remember him vividly in those roles.
