Patricia Semeraro, 85, of Cortland, NY passed away Friday February 15, 2019, at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. Mrs. Semeraro was born November 12, 1933, in Preble, NY to Francis and Marjorie Kearney. She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and retired from Parker Elementary School. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and the Cortland Seniors Club. She was predeceased by her husband, John Semeraro in 1988 and son, John Michael in 1957. Surviving her are her children, daughter Theresa (RC) Woodford of Oxford, NY; son Joseph (Karen) Semeraro of Dade City FL; six grandchildren, John Michael (Nicole) Semeraro, Maureen (TJ) Housum, Benjamin (Kayla) Semeraro, Katherine (Keith Rayburn) Woodford, Emily (Ben Potts) Woodford, Daniel (Caroline Stewart) Woodford ;4 great-grandsons, John Michael Semeraro, Luke Joseph Semeraro, Beau Theodore Semeraro and Henry Joseph Housum. Funeral Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Cortland, Monday February 25, 2019 at 10:30 am with interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday February 24, 2019 at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. Contributions to the Cortland Seniors club should be made in lieu of flowers.
