Obituary of Ricky J. Nowalk

Ricky J. Nowalk, 59, of East Freetown passed away suddenly March 25, 2019. Ricky was a lifelong resident of the area graduating from McGraw High School in 1977. After graduation he soon joined the U.S. Army then served with the National Guard being honorably discharged in 1990. Ricky was a skilled carpenter working for various local contractors until his health prevented him from working. In his spare time he loved reading, hunting, fishing, his horses and horse back riding along with operating his hobby farm where he was able to raise and care for his animals. He is survived by his wife of 30 yrs. Rebecca Nowalk, his sons Adrian (Denise) Nowalk, Dylan (Bethany Stanton) Nowalk, his step daughter Kristin Edwards, eight grandchildren, his sister Mary (Warren) Krantwashl, along with several nieces and nephews. Ricky was prdeceased by his parents John & Gladys Little Nowalk, and his sisters Terrie Schifilliti and Anita Hayes. A celebration of life will be held Monday 1 pm at the Solon Sportsman's Club.
