Obituary of Judith Van Coetsem

Judith B. Van Coetsem, of Cortland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 31, 2019, at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. Judith was born on April 5, 1946, in Cortland, NY the daughter of the late William E. Woodworth and Alice M. Shoemaker. She spent her career working as an executive secretary at Pall Trinity and SUNY Cortland. Judith was active in the Knitting Group, Library Committee, and was a volunteer at the Office of the Aging. Judith is survived by her husband of 33 years, Paul; sister Mary Patricia Vincent; her brother William John (Susan) Woodworth; sister-in-law- Mieke (Ad) Van Coetsem-Gouwerok; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Margaret Randall; and her brother Harry Woodworth; and brother-in-law, Rev. Dallas Vincent. A calling hour will be held Thursday from 10am to 10:45am at Bible Baptist Church, with service to follow at 11. Burial will take place at Cortland Rural Cemetery in the Spring.
