Obituary of Nora Z. Schloupt

Nora Z. Schloupt, 95, of Moravia passed away April 14, 2019. She was born November 30, 1923 in Laurens NY. Nora was raised and educated in Laurens graduating from Laurens High School. She stayed at home to care for and raise her children. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers and playing pitch. She is known to many as the "Worm Lady", as she raised and sold worms to the fisherman that fished at Skaneateles Lake. She is survived by her children; Patrick Schloupt, Susan Kirk, Jeffrey (Linda) Schloupt, Renee (Jeffrey) Schloupt-Hibson, her sister Betty Spoor, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Nora was predeceased by her parents Hans and Alma Stanton Jacobsen, her husband Charles Schloupt, her brother in law Raymond Schloupt, and her siblings Beulah, Izetta, Marion, and sister in law Beatrice.
