Barbara Stisser Osadchey 88passed awayat CRMC on May 14,2012 She was born August 16,1923 in Cortland,the daughter of Wesley D.and Lyda Dickinson Stisser
Barbara was married to Alex Osadchey,who passed away Feb.20,1980
During World War IIshe worked at the Samson Base to help with the war effort.ThenNY telephone companyand sears roebuck
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and a life member of the Truxton womens auxillary.
She is survived by her daughter Judy(Lew) Heath and son William (Linda) Osadchey LtCol(Ret)
Grand children Brian of Syracuse and Todd Osadchey of Boston,Ted(Laura) Heath of Maryland,Stacey (Ken)Tetrault of New Hampshire and Derek (Risa) Heath of Syracuse.
Great Grandchildren Derek Osadchey, Aubrielle and Genevieve Tetrault
Brother Wesley (June) Stisser and sister: Janet (Thomas) Sawyer,sister in law Eva (Charles) Bennett,many nieces and nephews
predeceased by her sister Dorothy(Ray)Corser, Brothers :Richard(Maxine) Stisser,Jack(Ann) Stisser.
Her joy in life was her family and her pets especially Mickey.She had many memorable adventures camping in the Adirondacks and traveling in the West and Peru.
Services will be at held Saturday at the Wright Beard Funeral Home at 12:00 with Rev. Nancy Ruguilar officiating, friends may visit at 11:00am prior to the service.
Private family interment following service.
