Obituary of Linda Monroe

Linda Monroe 63, of Cortland NY, passed away on Saturday May 11, 2019 at Upstate Medical, due to her battle of Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. Linda was born in Cortland, NY on September 7, 1955. The daughter of the late Richard Monroe, and the late Connie Thayer. A lifelong resident of the Cortland Area, she attended Cinncinnatus Central School, Graduating in 1975, and retired from Pall Trinity Corp on May 1,2019, after 15 years of service. She is survived by her Daughter Melissa (Carl) Pratt of Whitney Point NY, Grandchildren Katie (Derek) Manwarren of Norwich, and Charlie Pratt of Whitney Point. She is also survived by her Sisters Valerie(Chris) McCall of Lowville NY, and Lori (David) Monroe of Willet NY. A brother Marty Monroe of South Otselic An Aunt, Sharon Hobart of Homer NY, Aunt Sherrill Bock of Phoenix AX, and an Uncle Ted (Kathy) Hammond of McGraw NY, and several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins. She was Predeceased by her Son Michael, Her Father Richard Monroe in 2003, Her Mother Connie Thayer in 2015 and her Step-Dad Victor Thayer in 1999. Services will be held on: Thursday May 16, 2019 at 6:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 3725 Fairview Dr Cortland NY, 13045 With John Hutchinson Officiating and Her Uncle Ted Hammond. Family will be present during and after the services to receive anyone that would like to pay their respects. Burial of her ashes will be at a later date in McGraw Cemetery
