Marlene A. Tinker, 76, of Cortland passed away June 24, 2019 at the Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester NY. She was born January 7, 1943 in Cortland NY. Marlene was a lifelong resident of the area. She had worked for and with her late sister, Diane Hart, at Harts and Flowers Florist Shop. Marlene enjoyed gardening, fishing, but most of all spending time with her family. For the past 38 years she wintered in Florida, forming many friendships whom she considered her family. Marlene was known by many, loved by all and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Neil Tinker, her daughters Charlotte (Dale) Plunkett, Robin (Chris) Bushnell, her grandchildren Krystle, Ashlee, & Jenifer, great grandchildren Isaiah & Elijah, her sisters Linda Enders & Susie Congdon, her brother John (Cheri) Congdon, nieces, nephews, the Carr family, and her Florida family. Marlene was predeceased by her parents Morris and Eleanor Congdon, and her sister Diane Hart. Per Marlene's wishes are no services.
