Obituary of Calvin "Bill" Wright

Calvin "Bill" Wright, 76 of Cortland passed away on July 24, 2019 at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. He was born on October 9, 1942 a son of the late Calvin and Anita Dexter Wright. Calvin loved his 50's and 60's music. He was the owner of Wright Way Oil and Cortland Ice, which he took over from his dad Calvin. He was part of Wright Way Oil since his return from Ryder College. Calvin was a "great brother" and is survived by his three sisters, Rolene (Earle) Wilhide, Glenda and Brenda Wright, two nephews, Jason (Beth) Noss, Bryan Noss and special "beloved" cat Orry. Calling hours are 3-5 PM Sunday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY. Funeral service will be 1 PM Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Homer First United Methodist Church, 16 Cayuga St., Homer, NY 13077
