Obituary of Alan L. Burmingham

Alan L. Burmingham, McGraw, NY age 61 passed away suddenly on 7/29/19. Alan was born in Cortland, NY and went to school in McGraw, NY. He was predeceased by his father Harold Burmingham. Survived by his mother Norma Burmingham, brother Dale Burmingham (Judy), niece Lindsay Gaston (Dave) and many cousins. Alan was very well known and had many friends in Cortland and the surrounding areas. Throughout Alan's life he held many positions in the restaurant, warehouse and refuse businesses as well as time spent at the JM Murray Center. He had a very giving and helping spirit. Those who knew Alan knew that they had a true friend they could count on. Calling hours will be Saturday 8/3/19 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. followed by his funeral service at 11:30 at the McGrawville Baptist Church (7 E. Main Street). Family and friends are welcome to gather in the church hall for a lunch immediately following the funeral service. Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. is assisting the family.
