Dear Diane, Children, Grandchildren, Siblings and Friends,
Although our lives went very different directions after college, I always remember those days spent with my friend Ted at college and Camp Lamoka. Even as a young man, his heart was fixed on Jesus and serving Him. When I heard that the angels had come to take him home, I was saddened for all of you, yet rejoiced that he has "fought the good fight, finished his course and kept the faith". Ted has now touched the face of the Savior he so dearly loved. He is walking and running agile and free on streets of gold, communing with the saints and sitting at the feet of Jesus. While he rejoices, we realize how painful this separation is for all of you. May God surround you with precious friends and family who are near and support you with the prayers of those both near and far away. I will not be able to be with you, but you will be lifted up to our Father who can sustain you. "Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus."
