Obituary of Klaron C. Smith

Klaron Smith Klaron Smith, 71, of Cortland went to be with his Lord on 9-6-2019. He was born January 3, 1948. He was the son of the late Curt Smith and Delores Kurtz. He was also predeceased by his son, Jason and his step mother Edith Smith and step brother Rick Smith. Klaron is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janice (Reusch) Smith; a son Marc of South Carolina and a daughter Sue (Kevin) Mauser of Killawog, six grandchildren, two sisters, Coreva Goddard and Cecile Robbins, and several nieces and nephews. He was employed by Smith Corona as a Machinist as well as I M R Test Labs in Lansing. He was also a NYS Certified Model Maker. Klaron enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and hobby machinist work for friends, but mostly loved sharing his faith with others. He was a faithful attending member of Bible Baptist church until his illness prevented him from attending. Calling hours will be Wednesday September 11 th 10 am to 12 pm At Bible Baptist Church with Funeral Services to follow at Noon. Interment will be at Parker Street Cemetery in Lapeer immediately following the service. A meal will be provided at the church following the interment.
