Patricia Ann Alberts, 78, formally of McGraw, N.Y. passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Cedar Run. Patricia was born March 6, 1941 in Cortland, N.Y. a daughter of the late Lewis and Muriel Otto Varns. She married Kenneth R. Alberts on June 3, 1961, and raised four sons. She worked for Wilson Sporting Goods, Rubbermaid, and Wal-Mart, until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, horses, and birds. For many years she loved working with leather. If you knew Pat, she was always drinking a cup of black coffee. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. whom resides at the New York State Veterans Home in Oxford, N.Y., sons David (Kat) of Cortland, Kenny (Sandy Standish) of Pitcher, Bobby of Cortland and Steven (Amy) of East Freetown. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Katherine, AJ, Nicole (whom shares her birthday), Kimmy and Ken Ken. and two beautiful great granddaughters. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson Jonathon Kurr. A funeral service will be held at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 10 am The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home at 9 am until the start of the service.
